    • Light-Net
    • "Light-Net" is part of a series of artworks called "Demystifying the Network".
"Light-Net" is a primitive, small scale model of the actual internet. Every communication device has three basic elements
      – the transmitter, the medium, through which data can be transmitted, and the receiver.
The only thing that they require to make the communication happen is the use of language or protocol.
"Light-Net" transmits information through air using just a blinking LED light.

    • Memory Port
    • "Memory Port" is a video installation for the light festival "Gaismotā Liepāja".
Stories about history of the Liepaja Port and other are told by people who have created it and have been intrested in it. (Lat.) Co-creator: Maija Demitere.

    • Private Atmosphere
    • "Private Atmosphere" is a costume that can help you not only to survive ,
but live comfortably in the world that is inevitably affected by other people.
You can create your ideal environment within the actual environment and still be a part of a society.
The work is done in collaboration with Adri Schokker and students
      - Santa France, Iris Van Der Harst, Matīss Ločmelis un Maija Barbare - in the new media art week "iWeek"
organised by Liepaja University Art and Research Laboratory in 2014.

    • Sun Sounds
    • A simple wireless communication medium, based on the principles of sun telephone which was invented in 19th century by Albert Bell.
The sound has been recorded using only a mirror, two lenses
and a photocell with mini audio-jack as a microphone. And a recording device. "Sun Sounds" is also a part of a series of artworks called "Demystifying the Network".

    • Self-control
    • A sound sculpture and a real-time data visualisation of my actions.
All my important (in a way that they cause many problems if lost) belongings - keys, wallet and a cellphone -
are connected to the internet. Everytime any of it gets lost, the shelf in the exhibition space starts slightly shaking,
making the sound composition that gets louder and more nervous as the time passes.

    • Gara Acīm
    • An invention that lets short people (myself) see the world as tall people sees.
A very personal project - seeing things on shelves has always been a problem.

Parts needed - a helmet, webcam, small pc with VLC media player installed.

      Testing the device.

My out-of-body experience. Video will be available at some time.
