A series of artistic experiments and attempts to understand through them seemingly self-evident phenomena – sound and light. Using light as a sound source makes it possible to work with sound visually, opening up new possibilities for experimentation.
The experiments have resulted in various forms – as a performance, exhibition, workshop or a demonstration. During the workshop or demonstration the participants are invited to learn about the principles of recording, playing and generating sound using different types of lights and shadows and a solar panel. The elements for creating sound can be a body of water, a fidget-spinner, a vibrating string or any string that can be plucked to make a sound, simple DC motors, christmas lights, screens etc. Each of these light sources have different properties for generating sound through photoacoustic principles.
